Motivation edit
Complete Index to World Film (Q2990430) is a large database covering world film; adding it would improve our coverage of film. Trivialist (talk) 16:50, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

Discussion edit
- Support Very interesting. ButI rather see identifiers on the entire site: personXXXXX and filmXXXXXX (formatter URL: http://citwf.com/$1.htm).
- What do you think of that, Trivialist? —Eihel (talk) 16:57, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
- That sounds fine. I wasn't sure about one property having more than one type of identifier, but somehow forgot about ones like IMDb ID (P345). :) I've expanded the proposal to include people. Trivialist (talk) 22:52, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
- What about just expanding the new CITWF person ID (P8977) to cover both? It hasn't seen much use so far anyways. BrokenSegue (talk) 01:06, 6 January 2021 (UTC)

- Question So everyone agrees: « I don't create this property, but I update P8977? »
- I would Support the creation of this property only for films, while for people it's obviously fine using CITWF person ID (P8977). --Epìdosis 11:23, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
- Somehow I completely forgot that I proposed CITWF person ID (P8977) :) I'm fine with either a separate film proposal or expanding the existing one. Trivialist (talk) 23:30, 12 January 2021 (UTC)

- @Trivialist: I adjusted this proposal to be for films only; if you really want to you can raise the question of extending the other property on its discussion page, but doing that would require changing all the existing identifiers to include the "person" prefix, so I don't think that's a good idea. Better to just let this one proceed I think! ArthurPSmith (talk) 19:23, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
- @ArthurPSmith: Thanks! Trivialist (talk) 00:01, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
@Trade, -akko, Epìdosis, Davidpar, Romaine, Pamputt: and @Ederporto, ArthurPSmith, Trivialist, BrokenSegue: Done CITWF title ID (P9146) —Eihel (talk) 08:54, 13 February 2021 (UTC)
