Motivation edit
We currently have category for the interior of the item (P7561), this would match it for categories of exterior views. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 12:22, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
Discussion edit
- Support provided that a constraint be added that the interior Commons category property also be present when this is used. Mahir256 (talk) 02:07, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Mahir256: I'd be OK with a soft constraint, but not a hard one, as they might not always come in pairs. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 08:33, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
- Comment how frequent are these on Commons? I got the impression that while interiors are generally in separate categories exteriors aren't. Obviously, if there is one .. it's important, possibly more than the main one. --- Jura 07:30, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Jura1: Searching Commons for "exterior of" returns 4,084 compared to 20,870 for "interior of", so it would have about 1/5 the use of category for the interior of the item (P7561). Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 08:33, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
- Support with a soft constraint on the cat. Seems logical to have the opposite property. --IWI (talk) 00:32, 24 August 2020 (UTC)
