- Motivation
Although there doesn't seem to be a resolver by the Danish Bibliographic Centre yet, the DBC IDs are harvested by VIAF and thus find their way into Wikidata items ... using a wrong property with a similar title (Database of Classical Scholars ID (P1935)). I'm tired of cleaning this up, so I propose we create a proper DBC author ID. Jonathan Groß (talk) 09:18, 10 April 2017 (UTC)
@Multichill, Kolja21, Genium, Missvain, Hard, Fnielsen: What do you think?
Further examples: Mark Mills (Q6768895) → 87097969608434, Justin Webster (Q22669201) → 87097969745547, Nicolas Noxon (Q7029759) → 87097969628656, Tim Pigott-Smith (Q1334710) → 87097968825059
- Discussion
- Support I think this is a good idea. I didn't suggest it myself as there weren't any resolver. I have talked a bit with DBC, but haven't made them make at URL. Perhaps the introduction of a Wikidata property could make them implement a URL for their ID. — Finn Årup Nielsen (fnielsen) (talk) 11:50, 10 April 2017 (UTC)
- Comment This one has already be suggested one time before Wikidata:Property proposal/Identifiant DBC (Bibliothèque centrale du Danemark)
