Motivation edit
dblp computer science bibliography (Q1224715) is a common bibliographic database in computer science, and so it has an ID for the conferences that it covers, but this does not seem available to use as a property on Wikidata yet. We already have DBLP author ID (P2456) for the identifiers of people issued by this database, but we could do the same for conference IDs. Do you agree?
I could also suggest the creation of a property "DBLP journal ID", for the IDs of scientific journals in computer science, with URLs of the form "https://dblp.org/db/journals/$1/index.html", e.g., [1], but I'm not sure whether this should be done on this same page?

- @A3nm, Jura1, Skim, DarTar, PKM: Done DBLP venue ID (P8926) Pamputt (talk) 15:08, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Pamputt: Thanks! Any chance you can also create "DBLP journal ID" as proposed in the second paragraph? The only difference would be the domain, academic journal (Q737498), and the URL form, "https://dblp.org/db/journals/$1/index.html". If needed of course I can re-do a proposal from scratch for that other property? --A3nm (talk) 20:48, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- @A3nm: because DBLP journal ID was not explicitely the subject of this proposal, I would prefer you to create a new proposal. If you get support for it, property will be created in one week. Pamputt (talk) 21:00, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
