Motivation edit
This property covers all Finnish real properties. For IDs before 2014 it can also be used to identify the municipality, village and other information. There are 3 different formats that can be used, all of them equally valid.

- Support Trogain (talk) 11:35, 4 January 2022 (UTC) Looks fine. This is important identifier used by the Finnish land-use and real estate sector.
- Support It would make sense to support these identifiers. --TuukkaH (talk) 11:58, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
- Comment We have other properties where multiple formats are used, but to store and retrieve them efficiently, we opted for one of the available formats. Sometimes it's the best one, sometimes the ideal one, sometimes the optimal ones, and sometimes just the first one encountered. This tries to avoid creating separate properties for each format or adding the same value in multiple formats. I think the same should be done here: normalizing values to a single format.--- Jura 13:54, 10 January 2022 (UTC)
- I agree. I can imagine using the id automatically in a query, and I think it is important to to able to produce any or all three formats on the fly for the query (querying an external database). I think I would choose #1 as the storage format. – Susanna Ånäs (Susannaanas) (talk) 15:20, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
- Or #2 – Susanna Ånäs (Susannaanas) (talk) 15:21, 12 February 2022 (UTC)

- Let's take #2. It had two votes and the shortest conversion script. – Susanna Ånäs (Susannaanas) (talk) 17:20, 13 February 2022 (UTC)

Opposegiven that the format hasn't been sorted out. --- Jura 12:48, 18 January 2022 (UTC)- I'd go with the second format:
\d{3}-\d{3}-\d{4}-\d{4}
. Without further news, I'd update it in a week. --- Jura 12:34, 8 February 2022 (UTC) - BTW, whatever the format chosen,
{{Autofix}}
can be used to have the bot convert newly added statements to that format. --- Jura 14:03, 8 February 2022 (UTC)
- I'd go with the second format:
