Google has over 2,000 of these, with the number growing all the time. Should be applied to the most specific available item (so, for example 1 above, "Father's day" if no item exists for "Father's day 2017", qualified with point in time (P585) and, if applicable commemorates (P547) (for example 2, commemorates (P547)birthday (Q47223)). •  Support Well 2000 is a lot, so yes, you're right, this is a good idea. I would have proposed it myself, but e.g. with Carrington I was wondering about the painting - the doodle also commemorates that painting as well as her birthday. I guess the doodle fits better on Carrington's item, but of course it is also relevant for the painting item (which doesn't exist yet btw). Jane023 (talk) 20:57, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
