Motivation edit

I believe a good GPS coordinates are a very high priority dataset for geographical locations for identification. The data from LMÍ is of very high quality and is given out under CC license. By adding the ID it will be easier to maintain and update this information in the future. Steinninn (talk) 14:11, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea. On the Icelandic Wikipedia there are less coordinates than could be added to geographical articles. The amount missing is definitely over hundreds or even thousands.--Snævar (talk) 00:06, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
