Tophkate (talk) 19:28, 23 March 2021 (UTC) Michigan State University is home to one of the largest collections of comics and comic art in the world, holding over 200,000 items. This collection has already been used to add Wikidata items for comics authors and publishers. This property would allow us to connect those items to the works housed by MSU Libraries. This property would also allow researchers to conduct research about the evolution of comics in the United States by using the MSU Libraries collection as a dataset.

- Support, but is the description of the property really accurate? Isn't the record number applicable to any item cataloged in the MSU Libraries? How is this identifier unique to comics? Also, no subject item has been designated - wouldn't it be the MSU Libraries Catalog Catalog (https://lib.msu.edu/findbooks/)? If so, there should be an item created for the catalog, which would be used as the subject item of this property. UWashPrincipalCataloger (talk) 19:24, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
