  4.   Comment The identifier used is K10plus PPN ID (P6721). – why introduce a separate identifier property then? (I can confirm that P6721-style URLs https://opac.k10plus.de/DB=2.299/PPNSET?PPN=1769468390, https://opac.k10plus.de/DB=2.299/PPNSET?PPN=1043142150 and https://opac.k10plus.de/DB=2.299/PPNSET?PPN=1786818442 display data on the three items mentioned as examples on this proposal, though none of the items have a K10plus PPN ID (P6721) statement at the moment.)     Why introduce a separate identifier property then? Because it is unique information. Same case as these, which use GND ID (P227). With regard to missing K10plus PPN ID (P6721) (PPN) statements, well I wanted to broaden its use, @Kolja21 then explained, it was apparently only meant for linking media, not authority data like people. And regarding always incomplete (Q21873886): all people there should be notable, I just thought that made more sense because Niedersächsische Personen won't ever be a finished project, but will always be expanded. --Printstream (talk) 18:01, 15 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
