Motivation edit
Because some Turkish power plants have different names even in official sources, knowing the license number is the easiest way to query the official licensing database. Thus it is the easiest way for readers to check most of the information on Wikidata about Turkish power plants. As issues at https://github.com/wri/global-power-plant-database/issues have not been answered for a long time, as far as I know Wikidata is the only place where the public can update such structured data. Discussion edit
- Comment @Chidgk1: Can you fix the examples so they show the pair of Wikidata item and the property value (follow the example line with {{Q|1}} → value). Thanks ArthurPSmith (talk) 17:34, 23 July 2020 (UTC)

- Comment @Chidgk1: will this ID be valid for all kind of powerstations? Your examples shows only coal fired powerplants. Pmt (talk) 00:20, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
- Yes all kinds as far as I know. Certainly I have seen gas, hydro, solar and wind (there is no nuclear here yet). But autoproducers and some small generators do not need a licence. Details vary but I can link to the legislation if necessary. Chidgk1 (talk) 05:54, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
