URL vice item? That doesn't make me not feel warm and fuzzy. Could also do it as a string or identifier and that way we gain the use of the gadget/service to avoid linking long links. --Izno (talk) 11:47, 25 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- No strong opinion on that. An URL sounded sensible to point to a webpage, but a string would be consistent with Commons category (P373) / Commons Creator page (P1472). Oppose Current format allows to find the property proposals and is already there when the page is created based on the proposal.

Support Having information looked up on the discussion page shouldn't be the way Wikidata works. It makes sense to move as much of the information about a property as possible to the main page of the property. A bot could fill the property based on the currently available solution.
