Notified participants of WikiProject Italy Last December Istituto Centrale per il Catalogo Unico (Q3803707), the institution managing the collective catalog of Italian libraries, completed after two years a crucial modernization of its databases; in particular, it decided to release publicly its authority records for works and places, which were invisible until then; of course their importance is outstanding for the entire Italian library system; see also Property talk:P396#Nuovo OPAC SBN e formato degli ID for news regarding the existing links between Wikidata and SBN. Since, according to Property talk:P396#Nuovo OPAC SBN e formato degli ID, the formatter URL of these two properties will change from "nuovo-opac.sbn.it" to "opac.sbn.it" before the end of February, I suggest waiting a few days until this change before creating the properties; it would probably avoid some possible confusion. --Epìdosis 15:39, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
