Motivation
SNOMED CT is a well established terminology. It has existed since 1965. Since 2007 it changed legal form to be an international standard development organization. There are existing properties for ICD 9 and ICD 10 and SNOMED CT is very similar to those. Example wikipedia term where this property could be used would be https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macular_degeneration or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osteoporosis
The infobox template relevant to this property is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Infobox_medical_condition The identifier must be a number. (see https://confluence.ihtsdotools.org/display/DOCTIG/3.1.4.2.+Component+features+-+Identifiers )

Discussion
- Comment lymphadenopathy (Q847726) is linked to Snomed via exact match (P2888) - we commonly do this for Linked Data URI's - is this not sufficient? ArthurPSmith (talk) 17:21, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
- Comment It is not sufficient, because we would like to add it to the medical condition info box and in order to do that having it linked the same way as ICD is the only way to have that advanced functionality. Wuser6 (talk) 15:04, 3 May 2018 (UTC)
- Support, although I don't know well about the license of SNOMED CT... --Okkn (talk) 03:47, 19 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Wuser6: could you please format examples in the proposal template according to our usual format (see Wikidata:Property proposal/Médicos históricos ID for an example)? Thanks! − Pintoch (talk) 07:16, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
- --Wuser6 (talk) 18:46, 20 July 2018 (UTC) in terms of license, identifier alone is mentioned in number of other initiatives. For example here: https://hpo.jax.org/app/browse/term/HP:0002099 (see xrefs line). Another example here: https://bioportal.bioontology.org/ontologies/SNOMEDCT/?p=classes&conceptid=http%3A%2F%2Fpurl.bioontology.org%2Fontology%2FSNOMEDCT%2F69752006 SNOMED CT license limits only use where the identifier is also shown with other SNOMED CT artifacts (such as concept synonyms, concept fully specified name (preferred name), translations.) Moreover, Wikidata or wikipedia is not a data analysis or patient data creation (e.g., recording patient level health facts) system (where the license applies most strictly).
- Do you understand all of the data in Wikidata can be used for any purpose? --Okkn (talk) 16:43, 23 July 2018 (UTC)
- Wuser6 (talk) 13:31, 6 August 2018 (UTC) That is a fair point. If a user takes wikidata content (with SNOMED CT identifiers) and uses it for patient data creation, then that user may need to obtain SNOMED CT license. Well, if the user is from USA or UK or other SNOMED member country, there is no need for license anyway.

- --Wuser6 (talk) 18:46, 20 July 2018 (UTC) I tried to improve the template. please let me know what else is missing. The link is in Spanish and I did my best to use the template.
- @Wuser6: still not compliant with our usual format. Examples should be of the form
{{Q|42}} -> "identifier value"
− Pintoch (talk) 09:09, 25 July 2018 (UTC)- Wuser6 (talk) 13:31, 6 August 2018 (UTC) I updated the examples. I would be glad to further improve it. The RegEx may be not perfect. I had to google it. Simply allow only numbers.
