Planned useIt's a good ID to be used for some training classes of GLAM people here in Tuscany. I think that already around June 16th/18th we can show it to some students.
Number of IDs in sourcecurrently, here there are 18 full pages with 24 descriptions each, so 435 in total
Expected completenessalways incomplete (Q21873886) (This was the interface created for the new virtual tour, they focus on some of the main ones as far as I have understood. From people working at the Uffizi rumor has it that it will probably grow in the future. Few weeks ago the total number was 433.)

Motivation edit

The Uffizi are a series of three main museums, it took me a while weeks ago to understand how to clean up the confusion but I created the main item Gallerie degli Uffizi (Q93141797). Finally this website provides a unified and well-structured catalog of all the sections of the museums and also their objects. The details are accurate and can be used as a reference too.

Please notice that the url for other museums is the same pathway...

.. which is a good thing, because it makes easier to give an identifier to less known aspects of the cultural heritage of the town.

Please take a look to the Italian version as well. They look the same, but I preferred to use the one which is more understandable internationally.

WikiProject Cultural heritage has more than 50 participants and couldn't be pinged. Please post on the WikiProject's talk page instead.--Alexmar983 (talk) 22:07, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion edit

sorry I was so busy I forgot to put this reply for three times in a row. Technically, I would like to create such items in this case. Because they are well-described historic bushes, for exaple they are the first introduction of certain varieties of plants here. Form the museum point of view they are permament, de facto like a structure in the garden. So I was thinking at the very end also to add them IF I get precise coordinates. I can skip them of course, but they are useful information so I am writing also to people of OSM if they accept sufficient details to be at least inserted on their maps.--Alexmar983 (talk) 14:44, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Also, even if don't use them for IDs of specific items (and therefore as an authority control), look they are full of information so we can place them as references for statements in very specific items about cultivars that i am quite sure few people take care at the moment.--Alexmar983 (talk) 14:56, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
