Planned useThe WW2 thesaurus includes concepts, corporations, events, locations and camps related to the second World War We will start matching the most unambiguous category of terms (i.e. the transit and concentration camps) from WW2 Thesaurus to Wikidata using OpenRefine and Quickstatements. We will potentially add other lists in the future.

Motivation edit

The WW2 Thesaurus is maintained by NIOD, The Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies. As an authority source it adds valuable validation to terms related to WW2 on Wikidata and in return, allows users of the WW2 Thesaurus to retrieve the enriched structured data that Wikidata concepts might contain. 85jesse (talk) 09:55, 21 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
