Motivation edit

It's frequently occurs that a future product or event will be publicly announced well before the product is available for sale or the event takes place. However, inception (P571) is too vague, since we may want to pick either an earlier date when the development of the entity had already started, or a later date when the entity actually exists.

Discussion edit

@Ghouston: See Wikidata:Property proposal/Public presentation - I think that's the same idea, no? And it's been declared ready.. ArthurPSmith (talk) 18:26, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@ArthurPSmith: Thanks, it does seem to be identical apart from the naming. I guess this one can be closed as a duplicate. Ghouston (talk) 23:33, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
