Motivation edit

@Hsarrazin, VIGNERON: The universal short title catalogue (USTC) is an essential resource for researchers in Renaissance literature. The website references more than 800,000 editions of works published between 1450 and 1650, and lists more than 4 million copies of works corresponding to these editions, with the call number for the library where they are located. It provides a link to over 200,000 digitised editions of these works.   WikiProject Books has more than 50 participants and couldn't be pinged. Please post on the WikiProject's talk page instead.
