Motivation edit
The reparability index describes a product in terms of its reparability/sustainability. The index makes different products of a product category comparable. Discussion edit
- I think we should name this property something more specific to that website or whoever it is that is doing the scoring. BrokenSegue (talk) 17:12, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
- I agree, the name should be specific about the source. ChristianKl ❪✉❫ 18:33, 11 March 2021 (UTC)

- Note I added the missing signature of the user who created this proposal (based on page history). I have no idea where the "Tobias" signature came from. ArthurPSmith (talk) 18:50, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
- Comment Is the source, https://www.indicereparabilite.fr actually reliable or relevant to WikiData? JesseW (talk) 19:26, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
- Comment - "Mandatory in France", sounds like a legal context. I'm all for "Right to Repair" efforts worldwide, however, I think it's important any proposal implying a legal context, first must show proof of a law(s). I'll help here... https://www.ecologie.gouv.fr/indice-reparabilite and https://www.ecologie.gouv.fr/loi-anti-gaspillage#e13 --Thadguidry (talk) 20:19, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
- Comment How general should this be? I'm aware that iFixit (Q984913) includes a numeric "repairability score" in many of their product teardowns, and there may be others. 73.170.147.86 00:25, 24 June 2021 (UTC)
- Comment I think linking to the item would be better and with a qualifier of the numeric rating Germartin1 (talk) 20:53, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
