- Motivation
Many persons and occupations have either an individual piece of clothing, or a type of clothing/accessory, associated with them. Could be a subclass of uses (P2283). Pharos (talk) 05:53, 19 February 2017 (UTC)

- Support. Useful for fictional characters too. Thierry Caro (talk) 16:51, 19 February 2017 (UTC)

- This is why I propose "wears" as a subproperty of "uses". The "uses" property is too generic, and "wears" itself could apply to many items.--Pharos (talk) 21:01, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
- Support Much needed to describe what a depicted person is wearing in a painting, or the clothing associated with an occupation or profession. - PKM (talk) 19:05, 6 March 2017 (UTC)
- Comment We also need the inverse property "worn by" to place on the item or class of items when "owned by" doesn't apply. (For example, Three Brothers [a jewel] "worn by" James I "in" James I [portrait by John De Critz].) Can someone with more experience at it write up that property as well? - PKM (talk)
