I created recently the Wikipedia page W:pt:Lista de pontes em Portugal classificadas como Monumento Nacional and noticed that the Wikidata item date in centuries is not properly translated to the table generated by the sparql query. For instance (but the other cases are the same), in the first item, which date of foundation (P571) is the 18. century, at the table (Wikipedia article) appears 1800s, when I suppose should be 1700s. Am I wrong, or is here a flaw? GualdimG (talk) 22:59, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@GualdimG: See Help:Dates and particularly the section on Precision. It is likely some data was entered incorrectly here and needs to be fixed...? ArthurPSmith (talk) 17:35, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@ArthurPSmith: thank you for the answer. But the description at the "Precision" of "Help:Dates" is quite alright. It states: "19th century - Any date in range 1801-1900 with precision 7 is interpreted as 19th century". Is it possible that the software (somewhere with sparql) does not comply with this general statement? GualdimG (talk) 18:31, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
