The question is not if it's an entity, but a place name. As for the item being empty, that is your doing. Entity versus place name is a quibble over semantics. As far as (territorial) entity or place name, no record for "Chinatown, Rockville" exists in the geographic authority file (Q36524)s of Geographic Names Information System (Q136736), GeoNames (Q830106), Getty Thesaurus of Geographic Names (Q1520117), and Virtual International Authority File (Q54919). There are no references to the purported place name on the city of Rockville (Q327022)'s official website ( https://www.rockvillemd.gov/Search?searchPhrase=Chinatown ) or in any of Montgomery County (Q488659)'s geographic information system (Q483130) open data (Q309901) tools: https://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/gis/app/index.html
The ultimately merged article had exactly two references to the purported place name: (1) a travel/food Sunday lifestyle piece published in the The Washington Post in 2006, and (2) a food article published in the Washingtonian magazine in 2011, by which its very own title questions the place [name]'s existence: "Rockville: The New Chinatown?" — and was doing so in the sense of a sobriquet for Rockville (Q327022). But there are pre-existing multilingual Wikipedia articles for this city, hence the merge and redirect — where any editor(s) could possibly add this culturally related information, with adequate sourcing.
And no, @Jura, the item being empty is not my doing. It contained no valid sitelink, and no Wikidata property to indicate a source (Q18608359)s beyond imported from Wikimedia project (P143). And it has no instance of (P31). I removed the invalid sitelink; the coordinate location (P625) of <geo:39.0836,-77.1483> which resolves to the street address (P6375) of 98-58 Monroe Pl, Rockville, MD 20850, which is not a location cited in the aforementioned articles; and the located in the administrative territorial entity (P131) of Rockville (Q327022). I will make an edit to restore the latter.
Lastly, as stated by an editor, previous to the article's merge, Chinese and Asian are not synonymous: "Chinese =/= Asian in general. It meant all Asians, not just Chinese.       - This that we need to figure out. (1) are arguments for deletion, unless there are sources (2) is probably not sufficient either (4) isn't relevant if the name can actually be attested somehow. It seems that some pages using this on the web seems to be copies or based on Wikipedia, so this wont help much. @Taketa: yes, exactly, every multi-level bridge (Q61746425) has two parts: upper deck (Q61746442) and lower deck (Q61746444). That alone is enough to be admissible on Wikidata (criteria 2 of WD:N). Moreover, these items are very important and necessary if you want to talk about only one part and not the whole, see for example how it is used on Adolphe Bridge (Q365643) as qualifier (which fulfils the criteria 3 of WD:N).
