Function details: When items get merged, they often are both used in other items (eg here). So I created a script that uses a page where admins can add the id of the "from" and the "to" items and the bot will change the item id in all statements the item is used. For that I've created User talk:BeneBot*/movelinks.js, there you can also find a technical explanation.

Then you should have made this a bit more public so I could have saved a lot of time. At Wikidata:Bot_requests there appear requests like the one above more than once. However, is that task of your bot approved anywhere? I couldn't find the request. -- Bene*talk 23:06, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
@Bene*: I have a sample for run. Can you run it? --by ReviTalkCMG at 12:00, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
Of course, just add it to the talk page. ;-) -- Bene*talk 20:38, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
I did. please run it :D --by ReviTalkCMG at 21:50, 25 November 2013 (UTC)

Well, see RFD and we still see 9 links to test cases. --by Revi at 22:17, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
Works now. I think this task can be approved now. --by Revi at 05:55, 5 December 2013 (UTC)
