I'm helping out with translation administration on couple wikis, which is usually part of my work on technical stuff there. There will be lots of such work here so I'd like to help out with it. — Danny B. 22:01, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
- +1 Danny B. has been very helpful on some wikis like wikimania2013, knows the extension quite well by now and is not afraid to ask. Nemo 23:26, 6 November 2012 (UTC)

- Yes, I like to translate pages, although I often forget to mark his status when I finish the translation. I would like to have the tool to mark pages for translation and help users to enable the page to translate. I would like to help in this point to Wikidata. Hi, I am requesting for the translation adminship bit so that I can aid in migrating pages that are previously not using the Translate extension (there are quite a bit, or so I see). I already have quite a bit of experience in setting up translatable pages on the Incubator (although I have to admit a few slips due to my changes to have a block of text changed to a single sentence so that it is much easier for a translator to do the translation), but nonetheless I would be very glad to help out and with the translation adminship bit, I can extend my coverage of aid on this sector. Thanks! --Hydriz (talk) 03:24, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
- If you need a page migrated, please let me know on my talk page. I am glad to set up these pages. Ajraddatz (talk) 02:50, 15 November 2012 (UTC)

My Spanish skills are decent and I've contributed to es.wp before. I'd be interested in English to Spanish and Spanish to English (the latter would be easier as I'm a native English speaker.) I've been on en.wp for 8/9 years and I have several rights there, on Commons, and I'm an admin here and and Outreach. In real life, I've used Spanish for census administration and casual conversation on a semi-daily basis. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 07:49, 16 November 2012 (UTC)
- I don't think you need a week-long discussion per consensus at WD:Project chat#Translation administrators. If I'm interpreting it correctly, you may go to m:SRP and request it right away.--Jasper Deng (talk) 07:51, 16 November 2012 (UTC)
- It has been decided that current admin can ask to a bereaucrat or a steward to assign Translation admin flag, so I think you can ask it if you need it. Restu20 09:58, 16 November 2012 (UTC)

Hello, I'd like to have translations rights and be added to Translation administrators group. It seems that regular users are not able to use Extension:Translate (see example). I can translate from English / Spanish / German / italian into French. I can also proofread in those languages. I'm also a translator in "translatewiki.net". Best regards. Benoit Rochon (talk) 16:18, 3 November 2012 (UTC)
- Of course, will be useful for you. Ajraddatz (talk) 16:31, 3 November 2012 (UTC)
- Just a note: All users are able to translate using Special:Translate. The rights of translationadmins are only "Manage message groups (translate-manage)" and "Mark versions of pages for translation (pagetranslation)" (see Special:Listgrouprights). --MF-Warburg (talk) 22:26, 3 November 2012 (UTC)
- That's what I tought when I saw the List group rights, but I can't edit... same thing with the next person who resquest this, User:kpjas, he told me on IRC he have the same problem. So not sure what to do... Become an Admin ? Joke :-P Best regards. Benoit Rochon (talk) 03:11, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, I understand now - the reason is bugzilla:41667. Once that is fixed, translation will be possible. --MF-Warburg (talk) 03:16, 4 November 2012 (UTC)

Hi. I'd like to help the project with the translations. Currently, the pages to be translated often contain recent changes. Hi there. I would like to be translation administrator here on Wiki data. I translate a lot, and would also like to be able, marking pages for translation. I've been a part active on Meta, with translation. So I decided just to ask for it. I would be more than happy to help out here at the beginning. Greetings Simeondahl (talk) 06:50, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose I believe this user is flag/hat-collecting. This is evidenced by his third global rollback request in six months, which would not ordinarily be a problem, but in the latest global rollback request one user expressed concerns over the user's maturity. The user also requested autopatrolled here with not many edits. Even if flag collecting weren't an issue, I see no evidence of a specific use. The user appears to know Danish, but I don't see much experience translating here.--Jasper Deng (talk) 07:31, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose per Jasper Deng. But it's always nice to see user's who are from Nordic countries (and I've been once in Denmark). You just need more experience. --Stryn (talk) 08:26, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose per Jasper Deng. Lukas²³ talk in German Contribs 19:03, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose, doesn't seem to be active with it elsewhere. Ajraddatz (Talk) 19:05, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
- Not done - becuse I withdraw my request back when I can see that it's a little weird to ask for so many permissions. I'm just impatient: D And so on grundlæget that I have not got a support (which is obvious). Have a continued good day :) Greetings Simeondahl (talk) 06:20, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
