Scope edit
Manuscript and printed resources for understanding the constructed landscape of Early Modern England and Wales, including atlases, loose maps, itineraries, diaries, and gazetteers, as well as reference works relating to these items.

Immediate goal edit
- Have well-structured items for the major sources used by the Viae Regiae (Q105547906) project to build its Gazetteer of Early Modern England and Wales (Q105548625).
- Improve or create items for authors, cartographers, collectors, and bibliographers connected with the major sources.
- Develop a data model for Lord Burghley's Atlas (Q105468439), a unique resource combining proofs of printed maps and manuscript maps, all with hand-written annotations.

- Improvement of source items began on 12 February 2021, and is ongoing. This task is not dependent on other activity streams.
