WikiProject Africa is a Wikidata project dedicated to create and improve Wikidata's coverage of topics related to Africa (Q15), her history, geography, culture, nature, society, people, science, research, technology, arts etc.
- ASC Leiden Thesaurus ID (P5198) : African Studies Thesaurus
- The African Studies thesaurus is uploaded to Wikidata and partly matched. You are very welcome to help complete this task. Have a look at https://tools.wmflabs.org/mix-n-match/#/catalog/1315. The project will first focus on proper names such as the names of politcal parties, polities, languages and peoples.

Scientific articles on African studies (Q38157) are uploaded to Wikidata on a regular basis using Zotero (Q226915), SourceMD (Q56035039) and QuickStatements (Q20084080). The articles can partly be found by searching for 'instance of' scholarly article' and 'main subject' African Studies or simply via the Scholia topic profile for African studies (N.B not all uploaded articles are yet tagged with 'African Studies', though many are tagged with countries or locations in Africa). You are very welcome to use these publications on all Wiki projects.
