Status checklist edit
This lists all Parliaments now entered with per-term membership items and full metadata.
UK edit
- The checks
- Imported - brought in from external source
- Wikipedia - all MPs in relevant English Wikipedia category are present
- Constituencies - all constituencies are valid (existed during the relevant period)
- Parties - party data added
- Changes - mid-term changes (of party) checked against a list
- Exact dates of resignations have not been checked against an official list (eg); they may be a day or two out in some cases (eg day it was announced rather than formal date of resignation). Will confirm when matching to specific resignation items.
- Forms of leaving a party (withdrawn, expelled, "left", etc) may need double-checking for consistency - most currently lumped under "left"

Known problem cases edit
Where possible, these have been assigned to a month; this will show up in most queries as happening on the first of the month, which is not perfect but will work reasonably well for most modelling purposes and not be out by more than a few weeks.
Being transferred to Wikidata:WikiProject British Politicians/Notes and issues
- 1847-52 Parliament
- John Scandrett Harford (Q15512861) was technically never an MP, but should be modelled in some way (HoP)
- 1857-59 Parliament
- John Moyer Heathcote (Q6249668) was technically never an MP, but should be modelled in some way (HoP)
- 1868-72 Parliament
- John Aldridge (Q26250395) & Robert Henry Hurst (Q7345432) were both returned at the election for the single-member seat of Horsham; Aldridge later withdrew his claim. This currently is modelled as both being returned at the election and Aldridge having his election overturned on petition.
- 1874-80 Parliament
- Sir John Ennis, 2nd Baronet (Q7527760) & Edward Sheil (Q5345298) had a tied election. The court ruled in favour of Sheil in April (27 April); we have only listed Sheil as the member and have omitted Ennis.

Known issues edit
- 1386-1421
- Simon Lymbergh (Q24233451) is shown as holding seats in 1419 and 1470 - per the constituency page this should be 1420. done
- Robert Whelpington (Q24233792) is listed as sitting for London on five occasions, but this appears to be a mistake and it should be Newcastle. Recorded as Newcastle.
- John Hobildod (Q16239931) is typoed as serving in "416"; was March 1416. done
- Thomas Hussey (Q16226439) is shown as a member of the "1421 parliament" - per the constituency page this should be December 1421. done
- Thomas Burford (Q53219991) is shown as "Nov. 1383" - presumably October 1383. done
- David White (Q54322010) is shown as "Nov. 1383" - presumably October 1383. done
- Thomas Brigge (Q53219755) is shown as Bishop's Lynn in 1391, but there are three MPs listed this year; the constituency page gives him as 1393. Recorded as 1393.
- William Walkeden (Q24233775) is shown as Melcombe Regis in 1402, but there are three MPs listed this year; the constituency page gives him as 1420. Recorded as 1420.
- Gregory Aure (Q24232947) is shown as Bath in 1406, but Lostwithiel on the constituency page; here are three MPs listed for Bath this year, so the latter seems more accurate. Recorded as Lostwithiel.
- Thomas Hyweye (Q54321525) is shown as Midhurst in 1406, 1414/11, & 1415, but should be Malmesbury per the constituency page. Recorded as Malmesbury.
- Thomas Barbour (Q24232962) is shown only as "BARBOUR, alias FRYE" in HoP
- 1509-1558
- Thomas Lovell (Q7791938) is shown as only attending 1485 & 1491, but the text implies several other years as well
- Nicholas Hare (Q15990019) has an unknown constituency in 1539
- Edward Hall (Q713043) has an unknown constituency in 1539
- John Aylworth (Q21592170) is shown as 1553 - should be March 1553. done
- Bertram Anderson (Q26424674) is shown as 1554 twice - should be April & November. done
- Francis Bigod (Q5480227) is only shown as attending in 1529-36, but the text suggests he attended the 1536 Parliament as well.

- 1509-1558 & 1558-1603 crossmatch issues
- freeman-robert-i and freeman-robert-ii are identified as different people by 1509-1558; however, 1558-1603 tentatively links them. Provisionally assigned as Robert Freeman (Q54556091) (-i, Bletchingley) and Robert Freeman (Q53337557) (-ii, Southwark, inc 1558-1603, but with Bletchingley removed so totals for that vol will need corrected).

- William Brock (Q52848002) has a 1558-1603 entry which misses his 1604 term (listed in that volume).

- Guthlac Edwards (Q53646384) is given as "Gutlhlac" on the biography but "Guthlac" on the constituency page, which seems more likely.
- 1790-1820
- F. J. Robinson, 1st Viscount Goderich (Q312591) has 1790-1820 and 1820-1832 entries, but both are displayed as 1820-32 URLs. No change made.
- John Benett (Q16885499) is shown as serving until his death on 1 Oct 1852 by the 1790-1820 volume, but retiring at the 1852 election by the 1820-1832 volume. Contemporary newspapers confirm he stood down at the election and 1790-1820 is in error.
