All LD4 Wikidata Affinity Group Call and Working Hour participants are welcome to participate in group activity coordination.

Join us on #wikidata-coord on Slack to get involved! We volunteer for roles on a monthly basis. You do not need prior experience in a role to join in, and it is a very collaborative group.

Roles

Group Call Coordinator

What you'll do

Confirm a presenter and facilitate an hour-long call
Time commitment: roughly 90 minute each call

Wikidata Working Hour Coordinator

What you'll do

Confirm a host, set up infrastructure, and facilitate an hour-long Working Hour twice each month
Time commitment: 3-4 hours (including attending both Working Hours)

Wikibase Working Hour Coordinator

What you'll do

Confirm a presenter and facilitate an hour-long call
Time commitment: 2-3 hours each month

Coordination Meeting Facilitator

What you'll do

Facilitate a meeting of Wikidata Affinity Group organizers where programming plans and administrative issues are discussed
Time commitment: 2 hours each month

Notetaker

What you'll do

Take notes during the group calls in the call agenda
Time commitment: 1 hour during the group call
Sign up to take notes during a call on the calendar planning sheet

Event Communications Organizer

What you'll do

Compose and send out promotional messages for calls and working hours, manage the LD4 Wikidata Affinity Google Group, manage the LD4 Wikidata Affinity Group biweekly call calendar invite
Time commitment: Roughly 30 minutes each week
