Introduction

The Smithsonian Institution is a single entity comprised of many different museums and research units, some of which also have sub-units that we would like to be able to represent in a hierarchical or nested structure on the Smithsonian’s Wikibase. The following user stories hope to guide SIL Wikidata team as we model data in the Wikibase/Wikidata platform. The story will include:

1) persona; the WHO, the task is designed for.

2) intent; the WHAT, the tasks that the person wants to accomplish.

3) benefits; the END GOAL, the problems to solve and goals to achieve

Within each user case, description for the organizational and locality complexity may be necessary in order to facilitate or unavoidably create obstacles for data querying exercise. SPARQL query will be constructed from individual use cases when applicable.
