This is the (very incomplete and still unstructured) overview of museums with paintings in Belgium part of WikiProject sum of all paintings.
In Belgium and Flanders especially, museums rarely show their own collection databases on their websites. Museum collections are more commonly part of shared collection websites. In many cases, such databases might also include artworks from other types of art institutions, including churches.

- Erfgoedplus.be is a portal for the collections of a variety of museums, archives, religious heritage (church collections), municipalities and heritage organisations. It also serves as Europeana aggregator. A large partner with a significant number of paintings in the collection is Museum M, Leuven.
- Through the European project Digitising Contemporary Art, metadata of more than 25,000 contemporary artworks were made available under CC0 on Europeana; this includes a part of the collections of Belgian museums
