I work as curator for cultural partnerships for Wikimedia Deutschland since 2012. My favorite project with Wikidata linkage I sign for is the hackathon Coding da Vinci on GLAM data. Now it is in its forth year and growing.

- Abstract
Wikidata is getting increasingly appealing to GLAM institutions both to add content, to harvest content and to learn from its community how to organize data. As GLAM (galleries, libraries, archives & museums) institutions are obviously institutions they tick differently from volunteers and are often moving slowly. But they have valuable content, decades - if not centuries - of experience in standardization, data structures and in the variety of items that need to be described now in a machine friendly way. How could we become more GLAM institution friendly? How could we create frames for collaboration for staff and volunteers alike? How could we learn from each other? How could we benefit commonly in order to obtain better and more free knowledge? I would like to learn from you and share my experience with you. Let's talk together.
