How these pages work edit

I have again rebuilt this page, to the model agreed in Wikidata:Project chat/Archive/2016/03#Deaths of Wikidata editors. This is not simply meant to be a list of links to user pages. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 23:13, 8 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

So how do you intend to remember Joe Filceolaire (Filceolaire)? --Succu (talk) 23:23, 8 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
The design was very confusing, the link for 2016 was even linking to the English Wikipedia. It's also quite egoism to point to a page created days later, it now looks like you're the only one remembering him while there is a whole discussion in the project chat. Did you ask the family for permission, as your guidelines state? Sjoerd de Bruin (talk) 09:53, 9 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
"egoism"; yet another personal attack. And on a page with a topic such as this. Shameful. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 11:15, 9 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
Again, did you ask the family for permission? Sjoerd de Bruin (talk) 11:35, 9 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
Please point out where, you believe, that is required. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 11:41, 9 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
"as long as the family has not objected". Sjoerd de Bruin (talk) 12:08, 9 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
So, no requirement to proactively contact them. Good, because that would be highly inappropriate. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 12:21, 9 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
