Items with property count edit

Seems we need more statements. 4% seems low. Still, I think we have more than this lists. Compare:

  • Number of Items with at least one claim: 279.937 (4,8%)

with

Obviously, there could be duplicates in the other one. Nice summary btw! --  Docu  at 02:30, 11 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ignore my comment. This page is based on data from February 28. The database report from the same day only lists:
  • entity type (P107) 69495

Data source edit

Where is the source of the data used to create the graph of links/properties/label per language? --Nikerabbit (talk) 10:58, 21 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Links to pages explaining the classes edit

@Zolo, GZWDer:

  • human: 2,834,612 (18.2%)
  • taxon: 1,935,470 (12.4%)
  • administrative territorial entity: 1,575,488 (10.1%)

Could there be links to pages explaining these classes?

I see that you have created two of these pages, that seems to make sense, even though conventions seem to call for uppercases and plural. If the if the page is to be focused on statistical anaylsis, it may also require the "statistics" prefix (Wikidata:Statistics/Humans)
As Jura1 pointed out, Succu has made some interesting statistics about taxa et User:Succu/Statistics, maybe it could be moved to the main namespace ? --Zolo (talk) 07:59, 20 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
I created these statistics mainly for maintenance purposes. I'm not sure if they are of general interest. --Succu (talk) 08:48, 20 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
They are rather different from what is currently in Wikidata:Statistics/Wikipedia, but I think some of them at least can be interesting to people interested about taxa in Wikidata (number of sitelinks per language, number of links to external databases, main sources used... --Zolo (talk) 10:48, 20 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
I just love them (even if it's not quite my field) .. in the meantime, related_properties.php does some of it.--- Jura 10:57, 20 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
Seems to be limited to 50,000 Occurrences. --Succu (talk) 11:13, 20 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
Yes, but most of the time, my selections are smaller ;) --- Jura 11:18, 20 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Is there a way to update statistic diagram? edit

The data displayed are obsolete by 2 years. Is there a way to update the graph and data? Qwiglydee (talk) 23:30, 1 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Pie chart updates automatically - but no details? edit

This pie chart changes regularly automatically. There is no log of edits in the history.

Does anyone know how often this updates and whether there is documentation on how it compiles its data? Blue Rasberry (talk) 19:24, 24 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

update stats and links edit

This page currently has the following statement:

There are currently 22,472 active users. You can find more data at Wikimedia Statistics.

I just updated the link to go to Wikistats 2. I also think that it could be more clearly noted that the definition here of "active users" is different than "active editors" defined at [1] and shown on Wikistats 2. I'd actually favor deleting "active users", but will defer that to others... Best, Andrew Su (talk) 20:42, 6 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Total number of statements? edit

I think it could be useful to say how much statements we have in Wikidata. --Valerio Bozzolan (talk) 13:51, 3 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

I noticed that since 2021-04-28 the total number of statements decreased a lot. Why? https://wikidata-todo.toolforge.org/stats.php (open the table tab) Valerio Bozzolan (talk) 13:53, 3 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
