leading zeros for the identifier edit

@Emu, Daniel Baránek: Originally, Emu set the property so that no leading zeros are used within the identifier. And now Daniel set it to expect leading zeros to fill the identifier to a set length of six. Their website excepts any amount of leading zeros, but in the search results, there are none, regardless of the length of the identifier. Are there other sources that do use those leading zeros or are there any other good reasons to diverge from their way of handling this? (Using no leading zeros would make it easier to work with URL match pattern (P8966) and tools like Wikidata for Web (Q99894727).) In any case, Template:Autofix could be used to homogenize in any direction. --CamelCaseNick (talk) 02:24, 11 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I did not notice that the ID works without leading zeros, too. Let's revert my change and use Template:Autofix. --Daniel Baránek (talk) 04:53, 11 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
