Merging items which are not duplicates edit

Hi, an ip user found that you have merged many items which are not duplicates. Please be more careful in future. --Stryn (talk) 11:50, 31 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Stryn and myself have been going through the merges to correct them. Please be sure to check that the articles are actually about the same topic before merging them. If they are different topics, such as en:Espada ropera and fr:Espada, or en:Kelmend region and fr:Kelmendi, they belong in different items. Thanks. Delsion23 (talk) 18:35, 31 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
Hi,
Yet if we look at this and this, we note that this is the same region of Iran, for example.
Otherwise the rest I understood errors.
Rome2 (talk) 19:41, 31 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
It is not the same region. One is in Kerman Province in south Iran, the other is near Tehran in the north of Iran. Delsion23 (talk) 19:53, 31 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
Ok, so for me, sorry. Rome2 (talk) 19:54, 31 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Again you did something wrong: [1]. You can't add Anita Lawson to the same item where is The Young and the Restless characters. --Stryn (talk) 07:13, 1 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

In fact it is the English and French Wikipedia there is a problem, because for interwiki the interwiki bots recognize these two as good Projet:Interwikification (Part 1 and number 16). Rome2 (talk) 08:23, 1 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
In that case please be sure to check the articles before merging them. Bots can make mistakes too, they are not 100%. It's up to you to find the mistakes. Many of your edits are very good and benefit both Wikidata and Wikipedia. Please add this extra level of care to your work and then the links will all be correct. Thanks! Fatal merging error edit

Hi Rome2, please do not merge items only because some titles are the same:

  • Henry IV, Part 1

"Part 1" indicates that there is also a second part. You mixed some items, leaving other items empty: Henry IV, Part 1 (Q631855), Henry IV (Q4135545). --Kolja21 (talk) 12:42, 6 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
