Incorrect article moves

edit

Hi, you have repeatedly moved articles from red song (Q13164291) dedicated to describing specifically "red songs" from the People's Republic of China of a certain period to a list item dedicated to different countries list of socialist songs (Q6639702), and now to a general item revolutionary song (Q265147) dedicated also to revolutionary songs of the whole world from different periods. These articles do not match, and please stop repeating incorrect edits that are rolled back by multiple users after you. The only option for such moves is to expand and rename each individual article that you move. Solidest (talk) 19:47, 10 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you say zh:红色歌曲 is for PRC, then I moved some articles from political music in China (Q17058526) to red song (Q13164291). UU (talk) 13:04, 11 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
But it's not the same thing either...? en:Political music in China is much broader and describes any political music of any eras. The red songs concept describes a specific movement. Revolutionary opera is not a subtype of red songs, but is a subtype of political music of China. Solidest (talk) 16:39, 11 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
In reality, 「红色歌曲」and "Political music in China" are the same thing for now. In Chinese Wikipedia, 「但由于中国大陆在政治上的长期稳定,反映到歌曲上,要麼不涉政治,要涉政治則必是紅歌。」 literally translated as "However, due to the long-term political stability in mainland China, reflected in the song approval, either the songs do not involve politics, or they must be red songs if they involve politics." Splitting those articles to political music in China (Q17058526) and red song (Q13164291) will make much more confusion. Interlinking articles does not require exact wording in different language, your marking on wikidata item is too clumsy. Please talk your point of view on Wikidata:Interwiki_conflicts/Unresolved/2023, thank you. UU (talk) 17:17, 11 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
