P1080 and P1441 edit
Please, do not add P:1080 with fictional works like in this and this. from narrative universe (P1080) should be used with fictional universes (see the constraints and the talk page). It's present in work (P1441) that should be used for indicate in which work the item appears. I corrected it but I would appreciate if you are more careful next time. Hi Delirium, I see you're working on the railway stations. Great! Just some small remarks. I see you removed the adjacent station (P197) unknown claims. I add these as a reminder that some adjacent stations are missing. Would be nice if you could replace it with the right neighbors instead of just remove it. The other thing is the label of the item. We generally don't do disambiguation in the label, so probably "Kineta" is a better label than "Kineta station". Not sure, what do you think? OpenStreetMap seems to do without the station part. - Hi Multichill, thanks for taking a look; I'm not sure what standards there are in this area. I didn't realize the unknown adjacent stations were there for a reason. On the current Proastiakos Athens map (PDF), Kineta station isn't shown as having any connections to other services, just the two neighboring Proastiakos stations. But Greek rail service has been cut in recent years, so I may have missed other adjacent stations. As for whether to append "station" or not, I don't have a strong opinion on that. Most of the other Proastiakos Athens stations have either "station" or "railway station" in their names (see the backlinks) so I just changed it to be consistent. Dear Delirium,
the problem lies not in the difference between preserved food and canned food – I acknowledge that. The problem is, that other languages except English have described this item as canned food.

These languages have now two items for Tin cans (Q18396735 and canned food (Q18396746)).
In German (and probably also Greek + Russian) language, „Konserven“ is a generic term, meaning the single tin can (Konserve) and preserved food in general (Konserven).--Kopiersperre (talk) 15:22, 16 October 2015 (UTC)
- I agree the translations are currently messy. Perhaps move some of those translations to canned food (Q18396746)? The Greek one is already there fwiw; there is not currently a Greek label for preserved food (Q18396735). I do think for semantic reasons we should have something like "preserved food" as a separate item, though: it's what smoked food (Q18396734), dried food (Q18396741), etc. are subclasses of, which serves a useful role in gathering together the different kinds of food preservation using the subclass of (P279) relationship. I suppose these could all just be directly subclasses of food (Q2095), but then that loses what they have in common. --Delirium (talk) 22:02, 16 October 2015 (UTC)

Incorrect use of subclass of (P279) edit
Hello –
This edit to "public library" (Q28564) was in error. The properties instance of (P31) and subclass of (P279) define key ontological relationships. Because subclass of (P279) is transitive, such errors lead to numerous false inferences (for example, see this tree of parent classes). Please review the usage instructions on these two properties, and Help:Basic membership properties. In particular, note that "A" is only a subclass of "B" if all instances of "A" are also instances of "B". There is often another property better suited to expressing the relationship you had in mind; you can search for one here. In this case, has use (P366) works better. Thanks!
