Merging items

Hallo PAC2,

For merging items, you may want to use the merge.js gadget from help page about merging. It has an option "Request deletion for extra items on RfD" to automatically place a request to delete the empytied page. This way of nominating makes it a lot easier for the admins to process the requests.

Male vs. male animal

Beware, there is sex or gender (P21)=male (Q6581097) for humans but sex or gender (P21)=male organism (Q44148) for animal, important distinctions in some languages. See what happened to Hanoverhill Starbuck (Q15221508). Are there many more like that?

Voronoi diagram (Q757267)

Bonjour,

Je viens de remarquer que tu avais modifié le libellé et la description de Voronoi diagram (Q757267). Mais du coup, tu as fait un glissement de sens dont je ne sais pas trop quoi pensé, tu es passé du résultat (le diagramme/décomposition) à l'outil (la tesselation/algorithme). Les articles sur les wikipédias me semble plus parlés du premier que du second, non ? Et du coup, je me demandais si cela ne méritait pas deux items différents.

PAWS SPARQL notebook ?

Bonjour ! J'essaye de suivre la documentation de Wikidata:PAWS mais je coince à la première étape, pour créer un notebook avec un kernel SPARQL. Je n'ai pas ce kernel dans les choix proposés (j'ai uniquement Python, bash, Julia, R). Il y a quelque chose de particulier à faire pour avoir accès à ce kernel ? It looks like it isn't available in the new version of PAWS.

I suggest to contact the cloud service team (https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Cloud_Services_introduction#Communication_and_support) and ask for the reintroduction of Jupyter SPARQL notebooks. PAC2 (talk) 19:39, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
