Hello,

For OpenRefine, translations and many corrections in French have been available for 2 months already on Weblate. Cordially.

New OpenRefine reconciliation service

Hi!

Thank you for wearing the {{User loves OpenRefine}} userbox on your user page!

Because the existing Wikidata reconciliation service has had severe performance issues recently, I have created a new one which should be faster and more robust. You can add it to OpenRefine in the reconciliation dialog with the following URL: https://wikidata.reconci.link/en/api (or by replacing en by any other language code).

If you have any issues with this new service, let me know.

Happy reconciling!

advised OP to merge the topics.

Hi Thadguidry. You recently created the item comic series (Q27164577), which I just used on a couple of other items, before I noticed that there's also comic book series (Q14406742). Can you tell me what exactly you intended to be the difference between those two items? Is it "story" as opposed to "book" (i.e. comic strip series that might be published in a newspaper etc.vs. the ones published in dedicated magazines)? In any case, the items should be distinguishable better, if possible.

Thadguidry (talkcontribs)

Those can be merged.

It was a result of alignment with Schema.org Types (where I maintain the mapping between the two with Lydia and Dan's assistance). The mapping is maintained in Wikidata itself with various statements like equivalent class, etc.

ComicSeries is further explained here: http://bib.schema.org/ComicSeries ComicStory is here: http://bib.schema.org/ComicStory
