Ammonius (Son of Phidias)

2nd century, male. Sculptor. Greco-Roman Antiquity. With his father Phidias, Ammonius made a basalt statue of a crouching Monkey , discovered in the great Serapeum in Rome. The inscription dates the work to AD 159.
