After a years-long research process, the Kunstmuseum Bern will give up 29 works of art bequeathed by Cornelius Gurlitt, the son of a notorious Nazi-associated art dealer, including two Otto Dix watercolours that will be restituted. However, the Swiss museum will retain close to 1,100 works whose ownership history during the Nazi period of 1933-45 remains murky. (English)
