However, it is difficult to verify, coming as it does from an aggregate of author-fans, rather than any given single source; therefore where it appears references should be used, and it should be deprecated [with this entity given as reason] where it conflicts with a more authoritative source (canon, what TVTropes refers to as 'word of God'/'word of Saint Peter', and so on).
