Trial notes: 19 points of dittay were given in against her. She confessed, she was to be 'scurgit threw the town of Air and brunt upoun the cheik' before being banished. Post trial: On 14 May 1650 she was dead and the Presbytery of Ayr decided that her body should be drawn on a sled to the gallows foot and then burnt to ashes rather than bury her. (English)
