Correct identification of this object edit

The correct identification of some NGC objects is difficult due to errors and misunderstandings of the original observer and of the astronomers that, during time, made and re-analysed the data.

Use the information of different sources, NGC 601 has different identifications. Following the prescription of NGC/IC project NGC 601 and NGC 599 are different object!

Source Identifications Link Notes
NGC/IC project in VizieR (Q1662358) PGC 73980 [1] right identification
NASA/IPAC Extragalactic Database (Q488563) PGC 73980 [2] right identification

SIMBAD (Q654724) PGC 5778, NGC 599 [4] wrong identification!

Please do not use SIMBAD (Q654724) and Lyon-Meudon Extragalactic Database (Q6709611) databases to recover the data of this object!
