@Casper Tinan: Why can't we say that he was a sportsperson? Petr Matas 16:45, 27 December 2014 (UTC)
- @Petr Matas: Jean Lassègue was an amateur rugby player as were all rugby players until the late 1990s. According to the description in french or english, occupation (P106) is for job or profession.--Casper Tinan (talk) 07:40, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
- I don't think that we need a profession to be recognized officially to be allowed to assign it to a person. For example, prostitution is not recognized as a profession in many countries, but it provides the only income to many people. The questions, that we have to ask, are: Did he spend a big amount of time on it? What activity was he recognized for? What was he best in? What was his source of income? etc. Petr Matas 08:58, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
