strange : Proposed/text disappears on translated pages

Hi all, My page language is FR.
On Help:Merge I see this Proposed/text box is written in FR and the Nutshell box text is in EN.
When I switch to Help:Merge/fr only the Nutshell text appears in FR and the Proposed/text box has disappeared. That is surprising, no ?
