About the Freeciv commons gallery see the talk page, sadly wikidata has no decent edit summaries.
I think that two links to the same gallery are excessive, and as long as the dubious P935 exists it should be good enough. Admittedly fixing this manually per item is odd, some bot should enforce a common solution for this nit annually (or similar).
