Who Am I?Edit
My name is Mary Anne Caton. I develop and manage programs, curate exhibitions, and teach curatorial practice. I'm a public historian who loves the GLAM world. On Wikidata, I mostly edit items related to history, visual culture, and women artists, writers and makers.
Conflict of Interest StatementEdit
I work in programs and outreach at Vanderbilt University Library. Whenever I draw on information resources from the Jean and Alexander Heard Library to improve Wikidata entries, I follow Use Common Sense in general and the community guidelines against biased editing. If I appear to be violating those guidelines, please alert me on my talk page.
Galleries, Libraries, Archives and MuseumsEdit
I am a proponent of Wikipedia's GLAM initiatives. I've co-organized several Wikipedia Workshops and editathons since 2015 at Vanderbilt University, and also spoken at WikiConference North American in 2016.
