Hi, I'm Earlgreydays, and I live in the North of England.

I work as a Research Officer at the Devil's Porridge Museum in Eastriggs, Scotland. The Devil's Porridge Museum tells the amazing story of H.M. Factory Gretna and the 30,000 people who worked there during World War One, making munitions in support of the War effort. Our new Research Project, 'Miracle Workers', aims to collate all we know about the WW1 workers and upload biographies of notable individuals connected with H. M. Factory Gretna onto Wikipedia!

My other interests are women's history, particularly focused on the suffrage campaign and early women professionals.

Other things I really like reading -- particularly middle grade and young adult novels. embroidering (badly) reality TV shows. writing. I got my MA in Historical Research from Birkbeck College, University of London, and in 2021 I was awarded a PhD from The Open University.
