Keep in mind edit

  • If class A is a subclass of class B and class B is a subclass of class C, then class A is a subclass of class C.
  • If class A isn't completely included in class B, then class A isn't a subclass of class B.
  • A group of entities A has parts of entity A, but not vice versa.
  • There can be no circular routes in the classification: v.g. "class A is a subclass of class B and class B is a subclass of class A" is wrong.
  • A list of entities is not a class, but a group of entities is a class. For instance:
    • fictional cities is not a class;
    • group of fictitious cities is a class.
  • If class A is made up of the inseparable union of classes B and C, class A has parts of classes B and C and classes B and C are subclasses of class A.
  • If classes A and B form a disjunction in class C (A or B), classes A and B are subclasses of class C and class C has parts of classes A and B.
