User:Tom Morris/GerardM judge cleanup

GerardM has been adding a whole lot of incorrect claims using Autolist. I've been going through and reverting a lot of misapplications of the "occupation" tag that have categorised people incorrectly as a judge. I've now spent days and days doing this and there's still a lot more to do. In fact, there's far too much work for me to do this alone. Following the principle of "many hands make light work", please can you help?

Process edit

The process is fairly straightforward:

  1. Pick a listings page from the section below.
  2. Open it. Search on that listings page for the word "judge" to find the edits that add the occupation judge statement.
  3. Go to the Wikidata item in question. Tabbed browsing is useful for this, so you can open all the items in separate tabs.
  4. Go down to the site links section, go through to English Wikipedia (or another Wikipedia if you read that language and there's a site link).
  5. Scan the Wikipedia page for evidence that they are a judge. Quite a lot of articles are about US federal judges.
  6. If they are a judge, go back to the listings page and carry on to the next judge.
  7. If they are not a judge, go back to the Wikidata item, click "View history", then find the edit that says "Created claim: Property:P106: Q16533". Click "undo".
  8. Once you have checked all of the purported judges on one page, come back to this page and mark that contribs listing page as done by posting ** {{Done}} ~~~~ underneath it.

(This list isn't complete. I'll add more pages to it.)
